CO2 levels in the atmosphere - February 15 2026

Carbon Dioxide levels in the Earth's Atmosphere have skyrocketed since the Industrial Revolution and the beginnings of burning of fossil fuels. Fossil Fuels produce tons of Carbion Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, and other pollutants every day. It is not just cars and trucks, it also includes boats, ships, airplanes, rockets, and power plants. It poses a grave threat to humanity, and to all life on Earth.

Scientists tell us that global warming is already happening, and sea level is increasing. I foresee the time when the State of Florida will be completely under water. That is science.

The way forward is to abandon oil and gasoline as our fuel source, and move to sustainable non-polluting fuels such as electricity. Electricity can be created from Solar power, Wind power, Hydroelectric power. These are all sustainable non-polluting sources.

I made this switch in 2016, knowing I would no longer be polluting the Earth when I drive my car.

Sadly, when I drive my car around town, I notice a growing number of Electric Vehicles on the road, but I also notice that the vast majority of cars and trucks on the road are still burning gas and oil. I suppose their owners are thinking "why fix it if it is not broken?"

The good news for those who drive all-electric? Lower total cost of ownership and operation. I get 120 MPG equivalent, with never an oil change. The cost of oil and gas has been wiped out of my budget, and replaced with about a $50 per month increase in my electric bill. Have you gas car owners been able to get by on $50 per month? How much do you pay for gas? Oil changes? Distributors? Carbeurators? Gas Filters? Transmission fluid and transmission fluid filters? Transmission problems? (Electromagnetic waves do not wear out, and they do not require lubrication.) Spark Plugs? Tune ups? Maintenance?

Well, I have news for all people who drive gas and oil powered vehicles: It IS broken! You are harming us all when you produce smoggy cities and air polution everywhere. It IS broken, and it is time for you to fix it. We all must move away from burning fossil fuels and polluting our environment.
